Karanchira
Karanchira is a small village in Thrissur district of Kerala, South India. It is a beautiful hamlet surrounded by Karuvannur river and lush green fields. Karanchira is located 8 km from the Arabian Sea. Karanchira is a part of the Thrissur parliament constituency.
Cochin, the financial capital of Kerala, is 60 km away from Karanchira.The famous Irinjalakkuda Koodalmanikyam temple and Thriprayar Srirama temple are within 10 km radius.
The village has two schools; St. George's Upper Primary School and St. Xavier's High School. Karanchira has a multi specialty hospital, The Bishop Alapatt Mission Hospital. This is a very popular hospital.
